this looks so familiar... i've already lost a few (unimportant) files and an insane amount of nerve to this error message.
i blame it on the broken firmware of my 250gb samsung drive. the problem keeps occuring almost since i have it.
every time leopard encounters this problem (thank you apple for the incredibly descriptive error message), it will block for a few seconds. can get very annoying if it happens all the time.
